Sworn translations
Sworn translations represent a special category in the field of translation. A sworn translation has to be carried out by a sworn translator. In the Netherlands it is required that sworn translators have been sworn in by a court of law, after having completed the necessary training. Furthermore, they need to be registered with the Dutch Register for Sworn Interpreters and Translators (Rbtv).
A sworn translation may be needed when the translation is intended to be used as a legal and official document, e.g. emigration documents, birth certificates or divorce certificates. Furthermore, for banks and credit card companies and insurance companies sworn translations may also be required.
Language2Language provides sworn translations from English to Dutch and vice versa. The rates for sworn translations always depend on the amount of words in the text and to a lesser degree on the difficulty of the text. Language2Language offers sworn translations at competitive rates. As a one-person business with no staff we have far lower costs compared to the bigger translation agencies, and so we have the ability to work for lower prices.
